1.2 - Set-up Site / Asset

1.2.1 - How to Create a New Site:​

  1. Navigate to the Site Management page

  2. Click + NEW SITE

  3. Enter a clear, recognisable name for your site or asset.

  4. Define the Boundary of your site or asset. You can do this in 2 different ways:

    1. Upload a Boundary (geojson or zipped shapefile in WGS84)

    2. Draw a Boundary (Use the toolbar on the bottom of the pop up to trace your boundary directly on the map)

1.2.2: Refining and Finalising​

  • Editing: Whether you upload or draw, you can use the editing toolbar to tweak the shape of your polygon until it’s exactly right.

  • Save: Once satisfied, click Create at the bottom of the pop-up.

    💡 Pro Tip: Don't stress over perfection on the first try. You can always come back and edit your site boundary at a later date if your project scope shifts.
